Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must comply with the following requirements:

The submission has not been previously published nor is it under consideration by any other journal (or an explanation regarding this has been provided in the Author’s Comments).

The submission file must be in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
-
URLs for references should be provided whenever possible.
-
The text should be single-spaced, with a 12-point font size; italics should be used instead of underlining (except for URLs); all illustrations, figures, and tables should be placed within the text at appropriate points, rather than at the end.
-
The text must adhere to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines, available in the "About the Journal" section.
Original Articles
The scientific article consists of the following sections:
Introduction: This section will be brief, presenting the current state of the issue, a review of the literature, and the motivation behind the work, concluding with a statement of objectives. Materials and Methods: This section should describe the sample used, the procedures followed, and the methodologies and tools employed. It must provide the necessary data to ensure that the work can be understood and replicated by the reader and other researchers. Results: Observations made using the materials and methods described should be presented and described without interpretation. These data may be published in detail in the text or in the form of tables, figures, graphs, schemes, etc., provided their use is adequately justified. Discussion: Authors will present their opinions based on the results, including possible interpretations, comparison with results from other studies published in similar works, suggestions for future research on the topic, etc. Conclusions: A summary of the main findings. Acknowledgements: Recognition of those who contributed to the work. Funding Sources: Information on financial support received. Bibliographic References: Properly cited sources used throughout the article.
Scientific Reviews
Manuscripts that comprehensively synthesize, critically analyze, and discuss the current state of knowledge on a specific topic within the field of padel. Submissions may include systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and scoping/narrative reviews. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses must strictly follow the PRISMA guidelines (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses).

Title, Abstract, and Keywords: Provided in both English and Spanish.

Introduction: Thorough rationale for the review, theoretical background, and explicit statement of the research questions or objectives.
-
Methods: Detailed and reproducible description of the search strategy (databases queried, search syntax/Boolean operators, date limits), inclusion/exclusion criteria, screening protocols, data extraction processes, and quality assessment / risk of bias tools applied.

Results and Discussion: Structured synthesis of the retrieved evidence (supported by PRISMA flow diagrams and summary tables) integrated with a critical analysis of the findings, addressing controversies, convergences, and gaps in the existing literature.

Conclusions and Practical Applications: Concise synthesis of key insights, practical implications for the sport, and directions for future research.

Didactics and Professional Experiences
The manuscript should be structured into all sections the authors consider necessary to ensure a clear and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. For guidance, the following sections may be included: introduction, contextual background, pedagogical approach or case study, key findings, proposed actions for future implementation, conclusions, references, and appendices where applicable.
Ciencias del Deporte
A dedicated section for multidisciplinary scholarly manuscripts focusing on Physical Activity and Sports Sciences in general that are not directly related to padel or other racket sports.
This section welcomes the following article types:

Original Research Articles: Empirical or experimental investigations that strictly follow the IMRaD framework and comply with all general ethical and methodological standards of the journal.

Literature Reviews: Systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and scoping reviews conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines.
-
Educational and Professional Case Studies: Applied research, evidence-based case reports, or pedagogical/coaching intervention proposals providing direct practical transfer to sports performance, physical education, or sports management.
Formal Requirements and Structure:

All submissions to this section are subject to the same rigorous criteria regarding scientific quality, double-blind peer review, and editorial policies as main-track manuscripts.
