ABSTRACT
The traditional perspective still has an important weight in the daily work of padel coaches. The reality of the game of padel, on the other hand, is shown to us as an absolutely dynamic and unpredictable practice. And that forces us to question reductionist paradigms and to take refuge in conceptual frameworks that allow us to understand the phenomenon of initiation and sporting performance. And through this understanding we try to design more effective and safer pedagogical interventions for our students and players. We consider the player/team as a Complex Adaptive System. We try to explain succinctly some of the essential principles that characterise all complex adaptive systems. And we ask ourselves if considering those basic principles, through Constraint-Led Approach methodologies and the use of Small-Sided Games, we can move in the direction of improving our training proposals.
