Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between male and female World Padel Tour (WPT) players during the 2022 season, in anthropometric, tactical and effective variables on the court.  Anthropometric indicators were collected (sex, age) and effectiveness reflected in the WPT statistical database. Both anthropometric data and effectiveness and sex were analyzed. A sample of 400 ranked players (200 men and 200 women) was used. The research shows that there is a significant difference between the forehand and backhand zones of play, with the partner's drive being more effective. The research provides us with information of interest, mainly in the profile of the players, stating the height of the players as a non-cardinal factor for sports performance or the different forms of pairing in the male and female professional circuit, with the male being more even in age.
